It talks about self-development and psychology.I chose this book because I want to understand how habits work in our daily life and how we can change bad habits into good habits.

In general, this book explains about the power of habits. The writer says that habits control many parts of our life. We do many things every day without thinking because they are already habits.
The book explains about the “habit loop.” The habit loop has three parts: cue, routine, and reward. A cue is something that starts the habit. A routine is the action we do. A reward is the good feeling or result we get. The main message of this book is that we can change our habits if we understand this process.
The writer also gives many real examples from people and companies. These examples help readers understand the ideas more clearly.

Detailed Content of One Selected Chapter

The chapter I choose is Chapter 1, titled “The Habit Loop: How Habits Work.” In this chapter, the writer explains how habits work in our brain.
He tells a story about a woman named Lisa Allen. She changed her life by changing her habits. She stopped smoking, started exercising, and became healthier. This example shows that changing one habit can change many other things in life.
The writer also explains that our brain wants to save energy. So, when we repeat an action many times, our brain makes it automatic. This chapter is important because it helps us understand the main idea of the book.

What I Learned from the Book

From this book, I learned that habits are very powerful. Many of our actions are not decisions, but habits. If we want to change our life, we need to change our habits first.
I also learned that we do not need strong motivation every time. We need a good system and small consistent actions. As a university student, this book helps me understand how to build good study habits and manage my time better.
